Warehouse Operator

Responsibilities

• Prepares customer orders for shipment, ensuring quantities, destinations, and routing match work orders.
• Receives and unloads incoming materials, compares packing slips with purchase orders for accuracy, and processes return shipments.
• Uses UPS Worldship and Fed Ex Ship Manager to process packages.
• Inspects shipments for damages or defects, records discrepancies, and notifies supervisor, purchasing, and quality control personnel.
• Operates dolly, pallet jack, forklift, and shrink‑wrap machine as required.
• Follows Department of Transportation’s Hazardous Materials Regulations (49
  
  CFR, Parts 171‑180) if certified.
• Supports inventory management through cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and other tasks to maintain stock accuracy.
• Performs miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing ingredient plant (preferred).
• Fork truck certification.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in GMP and food safety work environments.
• Strong customer focus and problem‑solving abilities.
• Must follow safety requirements and ensure team adherence to PPE standards (safety shoes, glasses, face shield, respirator).

$17.01 - $20.42 per hour, depending on geography, skills, experience, and other factors.
