Responsibilities
- Ensure safety standards are respected, adhering to V5000, TS16949, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and Ohio OHSAS 18001 standards using QRQC methodology across all functions.
- Before starting work, confirm that staff understand safety working instructions at the station, PPE (personal protective equipment) requirements, conduct first‑level maintenance (PMs) and first‑piece inspection at the start of the shift, and maintain 5S rules.
- Understand flexibility and multiskilling requirements in the APU (Autonomous Production Unit) and verify that display visual requirements are accurate.
- Detect problems (deviations from safety, quality and efficiency standards) and, if detected, stop work and apply the appropriate reactivity procedure.
- Participate in immediate containment actions and in the improvements proposal program.
- Take part in the 5‑minute meeting in the APU.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of each workstation.
- Communicate any supply shortages to the team lead at the beginning, during and after shifts.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the APU through participation in VPS workshops.
