Responsibilities
Installs, maintains, and repairs industrial assembly equipment including but not restricted to pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Troubleshoots issues both physically and electronically via PLC or program investigation.
- Maintains a safe working environment by complying with all safety and environmental policies in the workplace. Advocates for and promotes a safe work environment by reporting Near Misses and/or other safety and environmental hazards, wearing all required PPE and encouraging others to do the same.
- Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs production equipment for a safe and productive work environment. Including, but not restricted to:
- Mechanical
- Pneumatic
- Robotics
- Electrical
- Hydraulic
- PLC
- Performs Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) to maintain safety and increase up-time of equipment.
- Makes recommendations for spare parts requirements and equipment improvements.
- Works on process support equipment improvement projects directed by the Manufacturing Engineering Dept.
- Complies with all safety standards and regulations provided by the company and government.
- Participates and contributes in a team environment by working with all levels of associates and coworkers.
- Documents all corrective and preventive maintenance performed throughout the course of the day in SAP.
- Performs all required duties and communicate information within shift overlap procedure.
- Adheres to all housekeeping SOP's in and around work area including 6S standards.
- Works in accordance to all TS-16949 and ISO 14001 standards within assigned work area.
- Ensures compliance and safety of all activities within the organization standards and policies.
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Detailed prior experience repairing and performing maintenance on manufacturing machinery and troubleshooting, electronics 12
VDC-460 VAC, hydraulics, pneumatics, motor starters, pumps and PLC controls. - Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience with PLC controllers, including but not restricted to:
- Siemens
- Rockwell/Allen Bradley
- Ability to read and understand:
- Machine blueprints (2D and 3D)
- Electrical Schematics/Wiring Diagrams
- Hydraulic Schematics
- Pneumatic Schematics/Valve Drawings
- Demonstrates a strong customer focus along with a great work ethic and willingness to do what needs to be done (without taking shortcuts).
- Possesses a stable work history and a strong personal desire to work safely and maintain a safe working environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic math, including working with decimals.
- Possesses a logical method of problem solving and willingness to learn and improve one's skills. Demonstrates a strong commitment to meet and exceed customer requirements at all times.
- Must be able to work required overtime that can be substantial during peak customer production periods.
- Able to perform detailed work with a strong attention to detail and quality.
- Gains satisfaction from team accomplishments and takes pride in one's contributions.
- Sets high expectations and achieves results.
- Uses time wisely and is accountable to self and the team.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds, perform repetitious duties and walk or stand for long periods of time on a daily basis.

- Exhibits integrity through fair and ethical behaviors in all activities; maintains accountability for performance.
- Strong attention to detail with well-developed organizational and communication skills.
- Proven experience developing work processes to improve outcomes for the team/customers.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. and be able to read, write, and speak in English.
- Excel and Microsoft Word experience
- Navigating folder structures within the network to locate files without shortcuts
