$32.00 – $36.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

Position SummaryThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving manufacturing equipment throughout the corrugated packaging facility. This role supports production uptime by performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems. Experience with corrugated manufacturing equipment is highly preferred.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Maintain corrugators, converting equipment, conveyors, material handling systems, compressors, and facility support equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs as required.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
- Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders accurately.
- Partner with production teams to minimize downtime and improve machine reliability.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, environmental, and food safety requirements.
- Participate in emergency maintenance response and planned shutdown activities.
Experience maintaining one or more of the following:
- Corrugators
- Flexo Folder Gluers (FFG)
- Specialty Folder Gluers
- Automated Material Handling Systems
- Compressors and Vacuum Systems
- Industrial Conveyors
- PLC-Controlled Equipment
Corrugated packaging industry experience is strongly preferred.
Qualifications- Technical Degree, Industrial Maintenance Certification, or equivalent experience preferred.
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work overtime and respond to emergency maintenance needs when required.
- Frequently stand, walk, climb ladders, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach.
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed footwear.
