** VALEO NORTH AMERICA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented VPS/Process Co-Op for Fall 2026
** to support the optimization and implementation of production processes within our manufacturing environment. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Assist in the analysis of current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost.
Support the implementation of Valeo Production System (VPS) tools and methodologies, including but not limited to 5S, Standardized Work, SMED, and Value Stream Mapping.
Participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
Collect and analyze production data to monitor process performance and identify trends.
Create and update process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
Support root cause analysis of production issues and assist in developing corrective actions.
Contribute to projects aimed at reducing waste and improving overall operational effectiveness.
Present findings and recommendations to team members and management.
Job Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
Must be available for a full-time co-op position in Fall 2026.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment or relevant project work is a plus.
