Position Summary

Brook & Whittle is a leading North American provider of sustainable labeling solutions partnering with top consumer brands. We foster a collaborative, innovative culture. This role is for full‑time Press Digital Finishers working weekend shifts (Saturday through Monday, 5:00 am‑5:00 pm). The position reports to the Production Supervisor and requires safe, efficient machine operation to deliver the highest‑quality labels to customers.

Pay and Benefits

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Operate machines to convert post‑press product into finished product following job ticket instructions.
  • Ensure machines run efficiently while producing product that meets quality standards.
  • Set up machines to cut and rewind per specific customer requirements.
  • Perform and document quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
  • Retrieve cores, boxes, and other supplies and materials for machine and daily operation.
  • Inspect equipment for defects and perform maintenance duties as necessary.
  • Read and understand written instructions and job tickets, and comprehend verbal instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Safely and efficiently perform all essential job functions in accordance with company policies and operating procedures.
  • Participate in department meetings, training, and continuous improvement events.
  • Serve as an example of company values: innovation, respect, integrity, creativity, and collaboration.
  • Report food safety and quality issues to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Strong math skills and mastery of metric and standard measurements/conversions.
  • Detail‑oriented and able to follow standard work instructions.
  • Quick learner willing to adopt new technologies in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Operate safely and efficiently while producing high‑quality work.
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Willingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, and weekends or holidays as needed.
  • Ability to distinguish color variations.
  • Pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
Education and Experience
  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • One year of experience in the printing industry or label manufacturing industry required.
  • Experience with hot stamping, embossing, or spot coating is preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, dirt, and chemicals; OSHA safety standards enforced.
  • Prolonged standing, walking, and repetitive tasks requiring bending, reaching, and stooping.
  • Ability to operate equipment and visually inspect product.
  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction.
