CNC Setup Operator 2nd Shift

Our client, a manufacturing leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a CNC Setup Operator 2nd Shift to join their team. As a CNC Setup Operator 2nd Shift, you will be part of the Machine Center Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Hamilton, OH

Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour

Shift: 2nd shift: 4pm - 2am (MON-THUR), with overtime possible on Fridays. May need to train on 1st shift: 6am - 4pm.

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills safely and efficiently.
• Call up programs and set up tooling for CNC machines.
• Edit CNC lathe programs as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
• Measure parts and make tool corrections during production runs.
• Instruct less experienced team members in CNC machine operation and setup.

• Technical college education or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year of experience operating, setting up, and programming CNC mills and manual milling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with gages and measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively at all levels.
