Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a CNC Setup Operator to join their team. As a CNC Setup Operator, you will be part of the Machine Center Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Hamilton, OH

Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour

Shift: 1st shift 6am-4pm (Monday-Thursday, with availability to work overtime on Fridays)

What's the Job?

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills safely and efficiently
• Callup programs and set-up tooling for CNC machines
• Edit CNC lathe programs as necessary to ensure optimal performance
• Measure parts and make tool corrections during production runs
• Instruct less skilled employees in CNC machine operation and setup

What's Needed?

• Technical college education or equivalent experience
• At least 1 year of experience operating, setting up, and programming CNC mills and manual milling equipment
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and product specifications
• Proficiency with gages and measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
