Screw Machine Operator

Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in precision components, is seeking a Screw Machine Operator to join their team. As a Screw Machine Operator, you will be part of the Screw Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $21/hr

** Shift:
** 1st shift hours: 5:45am - 3:45pm (MON-THUR / overtime possible on Fridays)

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform machine setup and operation of Acme and Davenport screw machines

+ Load bar stock, fill fluids, and remove chips from machines to ensure smooth operation

+ Adjust tooling, sharpen tools, and perform tool changes to meet quality specifications

+ Monitor machine performance and product quality throughout production

+ Assist colleagues with troubleshooting, maintenance, and training activities

** What's Needed?*
* + Relevant work experience in machine operation, maintenance, or related trades

+ Ability to perform standard math calculations for machine adjustments

+ Mechanical aptitude with tools and machinery

+ Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability

+ Team-oriented attitude with willingness to learn and grow
