We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn commission in addition to hourly pay.
PositionFull-Time Retail Sales Associate – to join our team at pawnbroker/retail locations nationwide. The successful candidate greets, engages, and assists customers in processing sales, loans, and other transactions.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker/Retail Sales Associate partners with the store team to provide customer service on both lending and retail sides, processing sales, loans, and related transactions. The role involves engaging with customers and assisting with inquiries and problem resolution, with a focus on a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations).
The position offers hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities- Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Perform non-management open/close procedures.
- Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and display merchandise.
- Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
- Answer incoming calls per company standards.
- Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers and collaborate to create a positive customer experience.
- Complete required training successfully.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, bending, etc.) as required by law.
- Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
- May assist customers outside the building or retrieve products stored in exterior areas.
- Minimum Age: 18;
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. - Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and perform basic math.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Must be able to work at multiple locations as needed and flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

Commission Plan InformationThe employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance. Details are provided during the interview process.
