Currently hiring for donation attendants & cashiers.

St. Vincent de Paul – Cincinnati (SVDP) has served residents of Greater Cincinnati for over 150 years with basic needs such as food, medicine, and homelessness prevention through its outreach center in the West End and 53 parish-based volunteer Conferences. SVDP provides holistic direct assistance and systemic change services while treating neighbors in need with dignity and compassion.

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and promoting our products. If you have a passion for sales, enjoy working with people, and have an interest in technology, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to interact with a diverse customer base, including both English- and Spanish-speaking customers. Fluency in both languages is a plus but not required.

To succeed in this position, you should have excellent communication skills, be able to work well in a team environment, and have a strong attention to detail. Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required as we provide comprehensive training.

• Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
• Answer customer inquiries

• Greet customers donating items and help with unloading items into the store
• Assist customers with furniture and other large items purchases
• Load and unload store trucks

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
