The Inside Sales Professional (ISP) works as part of the Customer Service team, qualifying, negotiating, closing, and processing sales opportunities with upbeat service and phone etiquette. The ISP identifies new opportunities, builds quotations, tracks leads from web marketing, and coordinates with the Customer Service and Outside Sales departments.
Essential Functions- Develop expertise in product knowledge
- Responsible for order entry of all product lines and accuracy
- Alert managers of large quantity/dollar inquiries and new customer activity
- Display an "I'm here to help" demeanor
- Build customer loyalty with key distributors by maintaining intimate knowledge of their needs
- Be proactive – keep customers updated and follow up to generate sales
- Run new customers through existing distributors
- Maintain the Parent File for each customer
- Provide accurate pricing and delivery information for OPW ES products
- Respond to customers professionally, accurately, and timely
- Communicate team performance to all OPW personnel
- Backup to team leader as needed
- Answer incoming calls and direct to proper salesperson
- Achieve performance metrics via Salesforce and/or Oracle, documenting key activities
- File all customer orders and shipments
- Back up all customer service personnel
- Age 18 or older with legal status to work in the U.S.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing and/or Industrial Management.
- 2+ years experience in a customer‑focused environment; manufacturing experience preferred.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Capability to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, Power BI); intermediate level preferred.
- Anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of internal and external customers to exceed expectations.
- Demonstrate independence, dependability, and flexibility to prioritize and manage work.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Hourly rate: $38.00–$43.00 per hour
- Annual hours: 2,000

- Bonus Eligible: position eligible for discretionary bonus based on performance metrics.
- Work arrangement: on‑site at OPW Corporate Headquarters, Hamilton, OH.
