Job Schedule:
Day Time – Wed: 08:00 AM – 07:00 PM
Day Time – Thu: 08:00 AM – 07:00 PM
What You'll Do- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and help deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within a tech and media environment.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, lobby areas, parking locations, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
- Support badge access processes, visitor sign-in activities, and delivery screening while following post orders, reporting procedures, and customer service expectations.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to use a computer or tablet comfortably is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation will be required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Drug screening will be required to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
