Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 06:30 AM - 04:30 PM
• Sun: 04:30 PM - 12:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, equipment issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies, and report any concerns involving restricted or sensitive areas.
• Support daily site operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining assigned post duties, and communicating relevant updates to supervisors, coworkers, and/or client representatives.

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
