Job Title: Maintenance Electrician – 1st Shift

Location: Hamilton, OH 45011

Pay Rate: $28.00 – $31.00/hr (based on experience)

Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00am – 4:00pm

The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components of industrial machinery and facility equipment. This role supports electrical power distribution, lighting systems, programmable controllers, and automated machinery to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

• Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment, including robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
• Connect power supply wiring to machines and interconnect cables between equipment.
• Inspect wiring and electrical fixtures for compliance with specifications and local electrical codes.
• Diagnose malfunctioning transformers, motors, lighting fixtures, and related equipment; replace damaged wiring and components.
• Test malfunctioning machinery and collaborate with maintenance team members to determine root cause.
• Replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, and sending devices.
• Diagnose, repair, or replace faulty electronic components.
• Replace motor bearings and rewire motors as needed.
• Program and troubleshoot automated machinery using programmable controllers.
• Analyze and resolve electrical issues independently or assist other team members in problem-solving.
• Plan wiring layouts and install conduit and electrical systems within the facility.
• Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components as required.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

• Technical school degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Four to ten years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, journals, and regulations.
• Ability to write reports and procedure documentation.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers and team members.

• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, geometry, and trigonometry in practical applications.

• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions.

• Valid Master Electrician License required.

• Frequent use of hands for tools and controls; regular communication ability required.
• Frequent sitting and reaching; occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Frequently lift up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
• Close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment required.
