Family Support Specialist
The Family Support Specialist will recruit and enroll children in accordance with the Ohio Department of Education Pre-School regulations, BCESC policies and procedures; serve as a liaison between parents and staff; assess and ensure that comprehensive services are provided for all children on caseload and to link families with the appropriate community social service/health service agency for direct services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred in social services, sociology, psychology, or related field. Two years relevant work experience in family/social services. Knowledge of community resources and health and human system operations. Valid Ohio driver's license with good driving record and daily access to private insured vehicle during working hours. Excellent communication, organizational, problem solving, and team building skills. Computer expertise appropriate to the position.
History of good job attendance. Must pass criminal background checks and be free from communicable diseases.
