POSITION:
Family Support Specialist - Translation
STARTING DATE:
As soon as possible
SALARY: $20.00 - $26.50 per hour based on education and experience
WORK YEAR:
Full-time
DEADLINE:

The Family Support Specialist will recruit and enroll children in accordance with the Ohio Department of Education Pre-School regulations, BCESC policies and procedures; serve as a liaison between parents and staff; assess and ensure that comprehensive services are provided for all children on caseload and to link families with the appropriate community social service/health service agency for direct services.
QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree preferred in social services, sociology, psychology, or related field.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Two years relevant work experience in family/social services.
- Knowledge of community resources and health and human system operations.
- Valid Ohio driver's license with good driving record and daily access to private insured vehicle during working hours.
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem solving, and team building skills.
- Computer expertise appropriate to the position.
- History of good job attendance.
- Must pass criminal background checks and be free from communicable diseases.
