Operations Coordinator

ODW Logistics is a people-focused and customer-driven third-party logistics (3PL) provider committed to delivering seamless end-to-end supply chain solutions. Our extensive range of services include supply chain design and innovation, warehousing, efficient distribution and fulfillment, freight brokerage, transportation management, and specialized e-commerce fulfillment solutions.

Serves as the liaison between the carrier and ODW. Operations Coordinator serves a critical role in the success of ODW service offering to our customers, both client and carrier included. This position entails establishing and maintaining communication with the carrier to ensure timely information is provided internally and to the customer. We strive to provide real-time visibility for clients and internal team members by leveraging automated tracking when possible and manual tracking (via phone, email, or text) as needed.

Time management is crucial for success in this role.

• Responsible for daily dispatch and tracking of truckload shipments within a specific team role
• Effectively communicate and work closely with other departments (Brokerage, Account Management)
• Maintain diligent communication – both written and verbal – with drivers and carrier’s dispatch retrieving status updates
• Analyze and address logistical challenges associated with individual loads
• Measured on overall daily load volume (number of stops / loads) tracked and dispatched
• Measured on quality of work (communication / status updates) in accordance with departmental standards
• All other duties as assigned

• High school or GED diploma required

• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong focus on attention to detail

• Hear, read and comprehend, write, and communicate
