Serving as the liaison between the carrier and ODW, the Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in the success of ODW’s service offering to customers, both client and carrier. This position entails establishing and maintaining communication with the carrier to ensure timely information is provided internally and to the customer. We strive to provide real‑time visibility for clients and internal team members by leveraging automated tracking when possible and manual tracking (via phone, email, or text) as needed.

Time management is crucial for success in this role.

• Responsible for daily dispatch and tracking of truckload shipments within a specific team role
• Effectively communicate and work closely with other departments (Brokerage, Account Management)
• Maintain diligent communication – both written and verbal – with drivers and carriers’ dispatch to retrieve status updates
• Analyze and address logistical challenges associated with individual loads
• Measured on overall daily load volume (number of stops / loads) tracked and dispatched
• Measured on quality of work (communication / status updates) in accordance with departmental standards
• All other duties as assigned

• High school or GED diploma required

• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong focus on attention to detail
• Speed and accuracy on data entry items
• High level of time management and prioritization skills
• Customer service skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to excel in a team‑oriented environment

• Read, write, and communicate
• Continuously sit, type, and perform repetitive wrist motion
• Occasionally stand, walk, bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn or reach
• Focus (with or without corrective lenses) to see close and distant, along with depth perception capabilities
