Warehouse Associate

Key Responsibilities
Fed Ex Shipment Operations

• Prepare and package orders for Fed Ex shipments, ensuring accuracy, labeling compliance, and secure packaging.
• Operate Fed Ex shipping systems to generate labels, track packages, and confirm shipment data.
• Stage and organize outbound shipments by carrier and destination.
• Work with Fed Ex representatives and logistics personnel to resolve shipping or documentation issues.

• Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or manifests.
• Pick, pack, and stage customer or internal orders following established procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through scanning or manual entry in warehouse management systems.
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the warehouse and shipping areas.
• Support production and kitting teams as needed for order fulfillment or special projects.

• Follow all company, FDA, and USDA food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Inspect products for quality, temperature, and packaging integrity before shipment.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety policies.
• Participate in inventory counts, audits, and process improvement initiatives.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 2 years of warehouse, logistics, or shipping experience preferred (food distribution experience a plus).

• Familiarity with Fed Ex or other carrier shipping systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50-60 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in temperature-controlled environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.
