Job Details
  • Oversee day-to-day field operations and coordinate all on-site construction activities for industrial projects
  • Supervise union craft personnel, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
  • Plan, sequence, and manage construction processes including shutdowns, start-ups, and fast-track schedules
  • Enforce strict safety protocols, quality standards, and compliance with plans and specifications
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and logistics while monitoring progress and resolving field issues in real time
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to maintain clear communication and project alignment
  • Conduct regular site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety training
  • Utilize project controls systems for scheduling, reporting, and documentation
  • Support pre-construction planning and contribute to successful project closeout
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or equivalent field leadership role on heavy industrial, power, steel, or petrochemical projects
  • Strong background managing union craft labor and multi-trade crews
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver complex or fast-track projects on schedule and within budget
  • Excellent knowledge of construction safety practices, quality control, and industrial construction methods
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project schedules
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in a field environment
  • Willingness to work on active industrial sites and travel as project needs require
