Southeastern Louisiana University's Classic Upward bound Program is inviting applications for the position of Outreach Specialist. The Outreach Specialist will recruit participants and deliver services to youth on the target school campuses. They will work with personnel at outreach sites to develop participants’ needs assessments and educational plans and provide services to meet the needs identified.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS  Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Experience in an educational setting or direct program setting; demonstrated ability to work successfully with low-income and first generation students in postsecondary environments; experience with and/or knowledge of programs that serve similar student populations.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE  TRIO experience preferred. Backgrounds similar to those of the program participants preferred.
