Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school in Hammond, IN is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to provide full-time support in a severe classroom for children aged 3-5 years. This onsite contract position involves working with young students who have behavioral, emotional, social, and learning disabilities. The role benefits from additional teaching staff available in the classroom to assist with educational delivery and behavioral support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction tailored to the unique needs of students with severe special education requirements

Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana (IN) Special Education License with an intense/severe endorsement

- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with additional staff resources
