Excellent candidates at a minimum, will possess the following qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing for undergraduate teaching opportunities
- DNP or PhD required for graduate level opportunities
- Certification in program area preferred
- Exceptional, experienced based subject matter expertise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated teaching or precepting experience
- Commitment to life-long learning and eagerness to serve students
Limited Term Lecturer (LTL) positions are temporary, non-benefits eligible, part-time positions hired each semester on an as-needed basis. LTL's provide instruction for nursing students in collaboration with the College's full-time faculty. All nursing faculty members are expected to be dedicated to excellence in nursing education, be actively engaged in nursing scholarship, and possess unencumbered licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state of instruction and Indiana or a multistate compact license.
