Guest Teacher Position
The guest teacher follows the lesson plans/instructions left by the absent teacher. The guest teacher actively supervises the students in the classroom while ensuring little disruption in the learning process is caused by the absence of the regular classroom teacher. The guest teacher reports any issues and leaves a written report of how things went during the day to the regular teacher.
The guest teacher reports to school by 7:45 am (if working a full day) and is dressed appropriately for work (casual work attire - no jeans). The guest teacher is required to wear a school-issued at all times. Guest teachers with a bachelor degree and above receive $125/day. Those who have not obtained a bachelor degree receive $100/day.
Qualifications:
The guest teacher must have a high school diploma and at least 15 credit hours from an accredited university. It is expected that the guest teacher has a substitute teacher license from the State of Indiana or be willing to obtain one. The guest teacher must pass a background check prior to working for the school.
