District Consumer Banker II

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

• Perform necessary functions to open accounts and maintain them.
• Operate a teller drawer as directed by management.
• Support client engagement through active calling, client conversations, and follow‑up.
• Carry out daily activities aligned with the First Financial Bank Experience, including partnering with internal constituencies to bring appropriate expertise to clients.
• Ensure client follow‑up calls are conducted within the proper timeframe.
• Maintain all operational and risk‑management standards.
• Assist clients with transactions at the branch, drive‑thru, by phone, and via email.
• Model the desired behavior for peers and coworkers in line with First Financial’s mission and values.
• Adhere to all compliance and regulatory procedures.
• Collaborate with District Specialists to execute retail strategies, attract, retain, and grow core client relationships, fulfill client financial needs, and deliver a first‑class client experience.
• Serve as a client’s trusted advisor by adding value and building deep client relationships using the First Client Conversation Model.
• Participate in and lead site‑center huddles and meetings to support sales and service activities.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales, service, and referral goals set by management through effective collaboration with the district and lines of business.
• Provide digital assistance for clients utilizing the bank’s online offering.
• Stay informed and up‑to‑date on all bank products, processes, and procedures, particularly complex ones.
• Daily travel shall not exceed 60 miles per day; mileage reimbursement applies for business travel above typical commuting distance.

• 3‑4 years of client‑service experience in a retail banking environment.
• 3‑4 years of sales and service experience with a proven record of meeting sales and service goals.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Possibility to obtain notary authorization.
• Strong knowledge of bank products and solid sales skills.

• Occasionally lifts and carries up to 20 lbs.
• Frequent lifts and carries up to 10 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and driving.

The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by state and federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures. This includes Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, OFAC, Suspicious Activity reporting, and other lending and deposit compliance requirements.

$18.00 – $20.19 per hour
