Vice President of Branch Administration and Operations

GW Murphy Inc. is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Branch Administration & Operations to lead and optimize operations across our growing network of roofing and exterior building products distribution locations. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, enhancing customer service, and supporting the continued growth of our organization.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in multi-site distribution operations, logistics, fleet management, and leadership development, along with a passion for building high-performing teams and scalable processes.

• Develop and execute operational strategies that support company growth and longterm objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across branch operations, logistics, and fleet management.
• Analyze operational performance metrics and implement data driven solutions to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Partner with executive leadership on expansion planning, operational scalability, and capital investments.

• Provide leadership and oversight to branch administration and operational leadership teams.
• Standardize and improve processes across all branch locations.
• Ensure consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Support workforce planning, staffing strategies, and resource allocation across branches.

• Lead company wide logistics operations and transportation planning.
• Optimize delivery routes, scheduling, and load efficiencies.
• Improve service levels while reducing operational costs.
• Enhance lastmile delivery performance and customer satisfaction.

• Oversee fleet acquisition, utilization, maintenance, and lifecycle planning.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Monitor fleet performance, fuel usage, and maintenance metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs.

• Lead, mentor, and develop operational leaders and support teams.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
• Promote a strong safetyfirst culture across all locations.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in distribution, logistics, transportation, or multisite operations.
• Proven experience leading large teams and driving operational performance.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.
• Valid driver's license.

• MBA or advanced business degree.
• Experience with in roofing, building materials, construction products, or related distribution industries.
• Knowledge of fleet operations, DOT compliance, and logistics management.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams and multiple branch locations.
