Materials & Capacity Planning Specialist

• Build and maintain daily and weekly production schedules grounded in customer demand and available capacity.
• Partner with production, purchasing, maintenance, and customer service so materials and resources are ready on time.
• Track plan vs. actual and re-sequence work to handle downtime, shortages, or priority shifts.
• Own ERP/MRP data integrity-work orders, BOMs, inventory transactions, and production records.
• Evaluate performance through metrics, inventory positions, and capacity data to surface efficiency opportunities.
• Produce decision-ready Excel reports for planning and shop-floor leadership.
• Participate in daily production meetings to align stakeholders and remove roadblocks.

• 1-3+ years of experience in manufacturing, touching production planning/scheduling, materials, production control, or supply chain.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP platforms such as SAP, Epicor, Oracle, JD Edwards, Infor, IFS, or comparable systems.
• Advanced Excel capabilities (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and comfort with data analysis.
• Exceptional organization, analytical rigor, and clear, concise communication.
• Strong preference for experience supporting production schedules, material planning, inventory control, or manufacturing operations.
