Family Nurse Practitioner (Contract)

• Active Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license
• State‑specific Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) registration
• Current DEA registration
• BLS certification upon hire
• 3+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, urgent care, emergency department, or related setting

Tues & Wed: 9:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., Thu & Fri: 6:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Duration: 7/13/2023 – 12/31/2023 with possible extension or direct placement.

$62 – $76 per hour, DOE.

• Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
• Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Develop patient care plans, record progress, and ensure continuity of care
• Educate patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
• Prescribe or recommend treatments, including medications and therapies
• Refer patients to specialists or physicians as needed
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient health records
• Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices
• Perform other duties as assigned
