Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the Quality team
- Build and execute development plans to strengthen team capabilities
- Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee all corrective actions (8D) to ensure timely, root-cause resolution
- Track and improve key customer metrics (PPM, PRR, NCT, QR)
- Serve as the primary contact for customer quality concerns
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to AIAG Core Tools (PFMEA, Control Plans, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA)
- Maintain compliant documentation aligned with internal and customer standards
- Maintain compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements
- Manage certification documentation and communication with external bodies
- Lead supplier quality performance, audits, and incoming inspection processes
- Support reductions in scrap, downtime, and drive First Time Quality (FTQ) improvements
- Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing-related field (Master's preferred)
- 7-10+ years in automotive quality leadership (Tier 1 experience required)
- Minimum 3 years managing quality teams (QA/QC)
- Proven success in a turnaround or transformation environment
- Strong experience with supplier quality and incoming inspection systems
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (preferred)
- Deep knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific standards
- Proficiency in Minitab and 8D problem-solving methodology
- Hands-on expertise with AIAG Core Tools
