Job SummaryWe are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to support industrial manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and improving electrical, controls, and mechanical systems throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong industrial maintenance experience and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and schematics
- Troubleshoot electrical controls and process-related issues
- Commission, diagnose, calibrate, maintain, and repair control systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems
- Work with PLC-controlled equipment and production systems
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment
- Replace defective components and perform equipment repairs
- Inspect equipment and determine replacement part requirements
- Maintain maintenance records and reports
- Train production personnel on routine preventive maintenance procedures
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- PLC control systems
- Electrical control systems
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Electrical meters
- Flow meters
- pH sensors
- Environmental and process control systems
- Hand tools and diagnostic meters
- High School Diploma required
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience or related experience
- 2+ years of electrical experience
- Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems
- Experience with starters, fuses, relays, contractors, and related electrical components
- Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work in a physical manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently
- PLC experience
- Technical school education
- Welding experience
- Welding certifications
- Basic pipe fitting experience
- Chemical manufacturing experience
