Estimator Project Manager - Environmental Remediation

Job Description

Seek out and bid on projects typical of the company’s business lines. Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with new and existing customers. Manage overall performance of assigned projects from start to finish. Supervise and coordinate activities of supervisors and workers while demonstrating a commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality work. Review job specifications, inspect the work site, and confer with the contracting agent to evaluate removal projects.

• Build relationships with past clients such as consultants, contractors, facilities representatives, governmental agencies, and railroad companies for the services of the company.
• Follow up on relationships and secure projects for the company on all open opportunities.
• Seek out and develop business relations with potential clients.
• Develop, submit, search for, and follow up on bid leads from various sources including iSqft, Blue Book, and other lead sources.
• Walk projects, create bids, assist with pre‑project set up, pre‑job documentation, and post‑project documentation.
• Provide project management for acquired projects as well as for assigned projects.
• Attend pre‑bid meetings, pre‑construction meetings, construction progress meetings, and gather project information as needed for own projects and directly managed projects.
• Assist other company offices as assigned; typical duties include walking projects for other estimators/project managers and providing project management for jobs that originated from other offices.
• Perform other similar management and business development tasks.

Physical activities: Talking; sitting; typing; entering data in small print. Occasional walking; climbing stairs; exposure to hazards typical of construction sites.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Occasional use of half‑face or full‑face respirator; steel‑toed footwear; earplugs; protective eyewear; hardhat.

Safety Sensitive: Yes

Location: In person; normal business hours.

Preferred skill set: High school diploma or college‑level degree; bilingual English/Spanish; OSHA 30; CPR/first aid certification; experience in construction, demolition, or environmental remediation.

Travel: 25‑50%
