Responsibilities of a Substitute Teacher:
Provide quality instruction to students on behalf of the permanent teacher in assigned classroom(s). Implement effective routines, procedures, and lesson plans on behalf of the permanent teacher. Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment. Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration or designee. Perform other duties as directed by school administration or designee.
Qualifications:
Must be proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing). Must submit to and clear a criminal background check. High school diploma or GED required. Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application submission. Some college hours or college degree preferred.
