Thank you for your interest in employment with southeastern Louisiana University. southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Transportation Services invites applications for the position of Coordinator of Shuttles. The Coordinator of Shuttles oversees the daily operations of the university’s transportation system and serves as the primary supervisor and point of contact for professional shuttle drivers. This position ensures safe, reliable, and efficient shuttle operations while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations.
The Coordinator serves as both a working supervisor and a driver when needed, supporting operations as needed. This position reports directly to the Director of Transportation Services.
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement (required)
- Experience operating commercial passenger vehicles
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university by hire date
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
