Mortgage Lending Manager

Snelling Staffing is in need of a Mortgage Lending Manager for a credit union with over 60 years servicing the state of Louisiana. This position will be responsible for managing sales both the Hammond and Metairie areas. The Mortgage Lending Manager's primary goal is to make sales via obtaining application for residential mortgage loans by personally soliciting borrowers and developing relationship.

This will be a direct hire position with hours regularly spent away from the place of business. Pay for the position will be $40,000 per year plus commission.

Mortgage Lending Manager Duties:

• Solicit and secure mortgage loan applications through in-person sales calls, networking, and community engagement.
• Cultivate and maintain referral relationship with realtors, builders, financial professionals, and other third parties to generate loan volume.
• Conduct in-person meetings with prospective borrowers to present loan options, explain terms, and obtain completed loan applications.
• Represent the organization in the community to promote products.
• Monitor loan progress to ensure borrower satisfaction.
• Ensure applications are complete and comply with federal, state, secondary market and internal lending regulations.
• Perform pre-audit and compliance checks.
• Meet or exceed assigned production goals while maintaining high-quality member service standards.

Position Requirements:

• Previous experience in mortgage and/or loan lending required.
• Associates degree in related field is preferred.
• High-level problems solving skills and adaptability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong detail-oriented organization skills.
• Expert in customer service skills.
