Warehouse Technician Job Description Responsibilities

• Organizing merchandise and loading and unloading shipments.
• Deliver materials to job sites on an as needed basis (may require travel of 2-3 days).
• Perform basic preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, equipment, and grounds.
• Welding/fabrication experience.
• Responsible for cleaning, organizing and maintaining the warehouse.
• Inventory all tools and equipment supplied to employee and crews.
• Care of vehicles: cleaning them regularly and driving them responsibly.
• Follow all safety guidelines identified in the company safety manual.
• Perform all job tasks to manufacturers' standards.
• Perform all work safely and efficiently; always utilize correct PPE.
• Learn basic knot tying and safe rigging principles required to load material on trailers.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a DOT physical certification; CDL Class A certification is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background check, MVR, and drug screen for government security clearances.
• Must have complete knowledge of use and care of basic hand and power tools.

• Must have reliable transportation to and from office location.
• Must be willing to travel to support different job sites and work necessary hours to complete required tasks.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Self‑motivated and able to learn efficiently.
• Team oriented.

• Certified in forklift and skid steer operations.

• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
• Work in adverse weather conditions.
• Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
