Terrance of Hammond is seeking an experienced and driven Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our apartment community in Hammond, Louisiana. This leadership role is responsible for planning, directing, and managing all on-site operations, including leasing, financial performance, maintenance oversight, and resident relations.
The ideal candidate is organized, results-oriented, and experienced in multifamily property management with a proven ability to lead teams and maintain high occupancy and renewal rates.

- Overseeing preparation and renovation of vacant units
- Entering and managing traffic, applications, leases, notices, and work orders
- Communicating property performance updates and strategic recommendations to the Regional Director
- Maintaining organized and compliant unit files
- Bidding and negotiating service contracts; managing vendors and maintenance staff
- Managing property expenses in accordance with approved budgets
- Ensuring timely completion of maintenance and repairs
- Responding to resident concerns promptly and professionally
- Enforcing community rules and company policies
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 2 years of multifamily property management experience
- At least 1 year of management experience with demonstrated success in leasing and renewals
- LIHTC experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (One Site preferred)
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to balance empathy with firm enforcement of policies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
