Summary:
Serve as the business development lead for assigned North Oaks Health System service lines, developing and executing strategies to support service line growth, provider development, referral growth and network integrity. Build and maintain relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, healthcare organizations and other key internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities, understand market needs and support organizational growth objectives. Collaborate with Marketing as a strategic partner to communicate service line and provider needs and support targeted marketing initiatives that advance business development and organizational goals.

Required:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in marketing, healthcare business development, physician relations, sales, account management, or a related field. - 2 Specialized or Technical
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred, or 8+ years experience in business development, sales, or medical field. - 3. Manual or Physical
Skills Required:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively interface with individuals in every level of an organization. Must possess outstanding time management skills and be able to focus attention on a variety of projects without sacrificing quality. Must have knowledge of computers and keyboarding ability. Responsibilities:
Description of Duties
- 1. Maintain effective relationships and communication with internal leaders, providers, referral sources and external healthcare stakeholders to understand needs, identify barriers and continuously evaluate business development opportunities.
- 2. Develop and execute targeted physician and provider outreach strategies to strengthen referral relationships, increase appropriate utilization of North Oaks services, address referral barriers and support network integrity.
- 3. Work cross-functionally with service line leadership, providers, operations, Marketing and other departments to support health system initiatives, improve processes, strengthen referral relationships and enhance customer and provider experience.
- 4. Develop, implement, analyze and optimize strategic business development plans for assigned service lines to achieve measurable goals related to referral growth, patient volume, market development and network integrity.
- 5. Partner with service line and operational leaders to identify growth opportunities and barriers, including access, scheduling, referral processes, provider awareness, service availability and competitive market dynamics; communicate actionable field intelligence to appropriate stakeholders.
- 6. Develop and deliver professional, data-informed presentations and outreach initiatives tailored to the needs of providers, referral sources and other key stakeholders while supporting North Oaks Health System strategic objectives.
- 7. Provide comprehensive and timely reporting of business development activities, referral trends, market opportunities, barriers and outcomes through established reporting and business development tools.
- 8. Organize, plan and execute business development activities and support appropriate internal and external initiatives designed to advance assigned service line and organizational growth goals.
- 9. Manage assigned business development projects through development and implementation to ensure accuracy, accountability and timely completion.
- 10. Collaborate with Marketing as a strategic partner by communicating service line, provider and market needs; providing business development and field insight; and participating in the development and execution of targeted strategies and initiatives that support organizational growth.
- 11. Develop and utilize effective business development tools, presentations, provider resources and other materials necessary to support physician outreach, referral development and assigned service line growth, in collaboration with Marketing when appropriate.
- 12. Monitor and report business development performance using available referral, volume, market and activity data to evaluate effectiveness, identify opportunities and demonstrate impact and return on investment.
- 13. Partner with Marketing and service line stakeholders to identify and support events, outreach activities and special initiatives that strategically align with assigned service line and business development goals.
