Purpose of the Job The Operator I performs routine checks of water or wastewater treatment facilities; responsible for compliance with TCEQ rules or NPDES permit. The Operator I will assist in preventive and corrective maintenance and sometimes investigate customer issues. The Operator I must be familiar with industry standard analyses such as chlorine residual, Ph, dissolved oxygen, and suspended and total solids.Job Responsibilities Preventative and predictive maintenance Operate mechanical equpiment Perform routine checks Competencies Delivering High Quality Work Supporting Coworkers Communicating Effectively Working Safely Education H.S.
