Metro Building Services is looking for a highly qualified Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our growing Hammond, LA Service Team!

Primary Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including RTU's, chillers, boilers, air handlers, and VRF systems.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components, including motors, compressors, fans, and control systems.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to identify system issues.
Stay up to date with the latest HVAC technologies and service techniques.

Qualifications and preferred experience:

5+ years of experience in servicing, diagnosing, and repairing complex HVAC equipment in a commercial/industrial setting (Chillers, VRV's, Controls, Refrigeration, etc.).
Familiarity with Building Management Systems.
Universal Refrigerant Certification.
OSHA 10 Certification.
Exceptional troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Clean and valid driving license and record required.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
