Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Foreman
Eskola, LLC has been installing commercial and industrial roofing and waterproofing systems throughout the North and Southeastern U.S. since 1972. We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Foreman to lead the installation of architectural and structural sheet metal systems on commercial roofing projects, oversee a Sheet Metal crew and collaborate with Project Managers to maintain quality, safety, and production schedules.
What You Will Do
- Lead and perform the installation of sheet metal components, including coping, edge metal, downspouts, gutters, flashings, and custom fabrications
- Ensure precise layout, cutting, and assembly of sheet metal materials in accordance with shop drawings and specifications, inspecting completed work for fit, finish, and waterproofing integrity
- Supervise and direct sheet metal crew members, providing daily task assignments and on-the-job training while fostering a team environment focused on safety, quality, and productivity
- Communicate and coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to align work schedules, resolve site issues, and ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and equipment
- Interpret construction drawings, roof plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution
- Promote and enforce OSHA and company safety policies, including PPE and fall protection systems, and conduct job site safety inspections and daily toolbox talks
- Maintain daily logs of work performed, crew attendance, and material usage, and report project progress, challenges, and safety incidents to management
What You Bring
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial roofing sheet metal installation
- Proficiency in fabricating, assembling, and installing architectural sheet metal systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen as a condition of hire
Nice to Have
- OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 hour certification
- CDL and specialized equipment training (crane, forklift, ariel lift, rigging)
- Bilingual fluency
