CDL-A Shuttle Driver – Doubles Endorsement

• Dispatch: 6:00pm until finished
• Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year
• Sign‑On Bonus of $5,000 (Terms Apply; not available to former PFG employees)

As a Shuttle Driver, you will play a vital role by transporting empty trailers to the Operating Company warehouse locations and turning around to deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. You will drive a tandem trailer, tractor‑truck, or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, following DOT regulations. You will communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and colleagues, and perform any duty as assigned.

• Perform all required safety checks (pre‑/post‑trip) and inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company standards.
• Report all safety issues and/or repairs required.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company safe driving guidelines, and policies; report safety hazards immediately.
• Inspect trailers to ensure freight is properly loaded and secured.
• Ensure all required route paperwork is available upon dispatch.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to the predetermined route schedule.
• Perform hook/unhook procedures in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas.
• Secure equipment and freight.
• Collect and secure damaged goods and customer returns in empty trailers for return to base facility; complete necessary paperwork.
• Unload equipment, materials, and remove trash from trailers.
• Complete daily record of hours of service and submit it in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience
• Valid CDL A with Doubles endorsement
• 21 years of age or older
• Meet all state licensing and certification requirements (where applicable)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
• Work required: 3rd shift schedule, Sunday–Thursday nights (schedule may vary)
• Pass pre‑employment drug test
• Pass road test
• Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one
• Ability to hand‑lift and operate equipment such as a two‑wheeler or lift gate to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight (typically 60–90 pounds depending on location)
