Direct Support Professional
Kindly Direct Care is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for a one-to-one opportunity in Hammonton, NJ.
About This Opportunity
This can be a great fit for a college student, educator, human-services professional, caregiver, or someone looking for meaningful part-time work. Consistency matters: although the hours may be limited, the individual and family rely on the DSP to keep the agreed schedule.
What You'll Do
- Support an autistic adult with developmental disabilities at home and in the community. (Individual has a wheelchair.)
- Provide community support and assistance with activities of daily living to individual.
- Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
- Assist with routines and activities based on the individual's needs.
- Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
- Complete required documentation after services and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.
Qualifications
- Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule.
- Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.
- Experience preferred.
- Comfortable with driving individual in the community
- Able to complete required onboarding, background checks, and training.
Schedule:
Friday 9am-9pm, Saturday 9am-9pm, every other Monday 9am-9pm and every other Monday 3:30pm-9pm Pay: $17-$21/hour
