Project Manager - Networking

We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager with expertise in networking to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects within our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a background in project management, budget management, and vendor management, with a solid understanding of networking infrastructure and operations. The role will require you to manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinate with various stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and interface with our IT group to ensure successful outcomes.

• 3-5 years of project management experience in networking or IT infrastructure projects.
• Experience in budget management, vendor management, and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
• Experience in conflict resolution and managing stakeholder expectations.

• Strong operations skills with an understanding of networking security and best practices.
• Some technical expertise in networking (e.g., LAN/WAN, cloud, VPNs, firewalls).
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
• Strong communication skills to manage stakeholders and interface with IT teams effectively.

• Lead and manage end-to-end networking projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines. Effectively manage resources and deliverables for each project, balancing scope and schedule.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring financial oversight and keeping projects within cost constraints. Track project expenses, monitor budget performance, and report financial status to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring they deliver services and products on time and within the agreed-upon budget. Address any vendor-related issues that arise during project execution.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, delegating responsibilities, and ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders. Communicate regularly with team members, senior management, and vendors, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed on project progress, risks, and changes.
• Proactively identify and resolve conflicts that may arise during project execution, ensuring that project timelines and relationships with stakeholders are not compromised.
• Collaborate with the internal IT group to ensure technical requirements, security protocols, and networking infrastructure are fully understood and incorporated into the project plan.
• Apply your knowledge of security operations and networking best practices to ensure that all projects meet security standards and operational requirements. Maintain awareness of the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and change logs. Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, budget, and potential issues.
