Shift Options

• 7:00 am – 7:00 pm (4 shifts per month)
• 7:00 pm – 7:00 am (4 shifts per month)

For LPN we start at $27 and the hourly offer rate goes up based on experience. $27 – $33/hr.

• 1st Shift (7:00 am – 3:00 pm):
  Saturday and Sunday $1.50.
• 2nd Shift (3:00 pm – 11:00 pm):
  Monday‑Friday $1.00, Saturday and Sunday $2.00.
• 3rd Shift (11:00 pm – 7:00 am):
  Monday‑Friday $2.00, Saturday and Sunday $3.00.

The Licensed Practical Nurse plays an essential role in the delivery of treatment at Pyramid Healthcare. The primary function of this role is providing direct nursing services to clients in adult substance‑use treatment.

• Our nurses do not have to assist with ADLs: all clients are independent for bathing, feeding, grooming, personal hygiene, etc.
• No catheters.
• No I/Vs/Ports/Midlines.
• Our nurses are not responsible for blood draws (we contract with a national lab).
• Minimal physical requirements: no heavy lifting, no long periods of standing or walking.
• No paper MARs – we have active eMAR.
• Career advancement opportunities:
  Lead LPN or LPN Supervisor.

• Complete initial nursing assessment with new admissions.
• Administer medication.
• Knowledge and delivery of detox protocols.
• Complete COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients per protocol.
• Provide medication education to clients.
• Coordinate and support medical providers with initial assessments and medication management appointments.
• Maintain medical equipment in proper working order; maintain confidentiality and proper boundaries.
• Other duties as assigned.

Licensure, education, and experience requirements as follows.

• Current LPN license in NJ – compact licensure accepted.
• Current CPR/BLS, AED and First Aid certification.
• One year of experience in a behavioral health treatment setting preferred.
• Background in substance‑use treatment and co‑occurring disorders preferred.
