Safely operate front-loading, side-loading, and rear-loading garbage trucks to collect waste or recyclables;
Transport collected material to disposal, transfer, or recycling facilities and may make one or more trips per shift;
Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure vehicles comply with safety standards;
Back up and maneuver trucks in congested areas and tight spaces; perform backing maneuvers as required;
Maintain clean driving record and adhere to DOT/OSHA/traffic regulations; read maps and communicate with the public as needed
