Solar PV Roofer
Our client, a well‑established renewable energy contractor, is looking for an experienced Solar PV Roofer to join its growing installation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled solar professional seeking a permanent position with long‑term stability, regular work, and the chance to further develop their expertise within the renewable energy sector.
Key Duties- Carry out the installation of solar PV systems on residential and commercial properties
- Install above‑roof, in‑roof, and flat‑roof solar PV systems to a high standard
- Work from installation plans and technical drawings to complete projects accurately
- Ensure all work complies with company procedures and health & safety regulations
- Safely use hand and power tools associated with solar roofing installations
- Work independently and alongside installation teams to deliver projects on schedule
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and site organisation
- Handle solar panels, mounting systems, and associated equipment safely and efficiently
- Minimum 1 year of hands‑on solar PV roofing experience
- Proven experience installing above‑roof, in‑roof, and flat‑roof solar systems
- Strong understanding of solar mounting systems and roofing installation techniques
- Comfortable working at height and handling heavy materials
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and installation plans
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Full‐time, permanent position
- Up to £50,000 basic salary
