Our client is looking for an experienced Multi Skilled / Multi Trade Operative to join their operational delivery team.

This is a permanent, hands-on opportunity for an experienced tradesperson with a strong practical background in building works, refurbishment, repairs and general maintenance.

The role offers a varied workload across commercial, Government and public sector properties, with no two days necessarily being the same. You will carry out a broad range of practical building works, work independently across client sites and take ownership of completing tasks to a high standard.

The Role

Typical works may include:

* Carpentry repairs and installations

* Tiling and flooring repairs

* Painting and decorating

* Brickwork and general building repairs

* Fencing and gate repairs

* Basic plumbing

* Making good and remedial works

* Minor refurbishment and general building maintenance

The role would suit someone with a strong core trade or practical construction background who is comfortable undertaking a variety of building works. You do not need to be experienced across every trade.

About You

We would be interested in candidates from backgrounds including:

* Multi Trade / Multi Skilled Operative

* Building Operative

* Building Maintenance

* Property Maintenance

* General Builder / Handyman

You should be confident working independently, using your own initiative and finding practical solutions to problems on site. Reliability, communication and a professional approach are essential.

Working Area

The role involves regular travel across Surrey, London and the wider South East, so candidates must be comfortable travelling between sites.

A full UK driving licence is essential.

Training & Development

The company provides ongoing training and development, which may include, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height, PASMA and IPAF.

Qualifications

Essential - Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable, but not essential: NVQ or City & Guilds, Carpentry / Joinery qualification, CSCS Card, First Aid, PASMA and IPAF.

Relevant practical experience will be considered in place of formal qualifications.
