Workshop Technician

I am pleased to be representing an industry leading company who are on the lookout for a Workshop Technician…. In this position your role will be to maintain specialist equipment ensuring it is in pristine condition. This would be a great opportunity for anyone with plant experience or previous mechanics experience.

All candidates must be able to work an height (ie. servicing gantry cranes)

The working hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm

Role of Workshop Technician

* Working on Plant equipment and repairing with light mechanical work

* Body alterations and repairs to plant equipment

* Inspecting returned equipment to identify damage, wear or faults.

* welding

* Assembly duties

* Carrying out repairs, servicing, refurbishment and general maintenance

* Working to daily schedules and prioritising repairs to meet customer deadlines.

Experience of the Workshop Technician

* Mechanical/hands on experience

* Hands on individual with the willingness to get stuck in

* Confident using hand and power tools.

* Confident working at height

* Can do attitude

* Previous mechanics experience

* Experience working on plant equipment or vehicles (desirable)
