Responsibilities
  • Perform full-cycle accounting including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare monthly reporting packages.
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and investigate accounting discrepancies.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
  • Support external audits and year-end tax preparation.
  • Monitor and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Partner with operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist with project accounting and cost tracking as needed.
  • Contribute to process improvements and increased efficiencies within the accounting department.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 4+ years of progressive full-cycle accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with fixed asset accounting.
  • Experience with cost accounting within a manufacturing, engineering, construction, or project-based environment.
  • CPA designation or CPA-track candidate is a plus.
